COOKIE POLICY
This document represents our cookie policy, with it we want to explain what cookies are and what they are used for.
1. What are cookies?
As clarified by the Privacy Guarantor in its December 2012 FAQs, cookies are "small text files" - made up of letters and numbers - "that sites visited by the user send to the user's terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored in order to be retransmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits" (hereafter Cookies ). Cookies have the function of streamlining web traffic analysis or reporting when a specific site or part of a site is visited, distinguishing visitors from each other in order to provide personalized content, and helping administrators to improve the site and the users' browsing experience. Through cookies, we cannot access any other information stored on your device, even if that is where the cookies are downloaded. Cookies cannot load code of any kind, carry viruses or malware, and are not harmful to the user's terminal.
Below you can find all the information about the cookies installed through this site and the necessary guidance on how to manage your preferences in this regard.
2. Cookies on this site and how to manage preferences and provide or revoke consent
This website uses cookies, and when you first connect to any page on our site you will see an informational banner about the use of cookies appear, allowing you to manage your installation preferences.
The site remembers your choice, so the short notice will not be repeated in subsequent links from the same device. There are, however, several ways to manage preferences regarding Cookies and to provide and withdraw consent where relevant:
- Users can manage Cookies preferences directly from their device settings, for example, by preventing the use or storage of Cookies .
- In addition, whenever the use of Cookies is based on consent, Users may provide or revoke that consent by setting their preferences in the cookie notice or updating those preferences accordingly via the relevant consent preference privacy widget, if available.
- It is also possible, through the appropriate browser or device features, to delete previously stored Cookies, including those used to remember the User's initial consent preferences.
- Other Cookies in the local browser memory could be deleted by deleting the browsing history.
- Regarding any third-party Cookies, the User can manage his or her preferences via the relevant opt-out link (where provided), using the methods indicated in the third party's privacy policy, or by contacting the third party.
Users can, for example, find information on how to manage Cookies in popular browsers at the following addresses:
Users can also manage certain categories of Cookies used on mobile apps by disabling them through relevant device settings such as mobile device advertising settings or tracking settings in general (Users can open device settings and search for the relevant setting).
Users are also free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Cookies . Please keep in mind, however, that Cookies help this Website provide Users with a better experience and enhanced functionality (in line with the purposes outlined in this document). Therefore, if the User chooses to block the use ofCookies, the Owner may not be able to provide the related functionality.
If you encounter technical problems related to the provision of consent, you can contact us by e-mail at the address you will find within the privacy policy, linked in the footer of our Site, and within which the Data Controller is identified who is also responsible for the processing of Cookies. Also since the use of Third Party Tracking Tools through this Site cannot be fully controlled by the Data Controller, any specific references to Third Party Tracking Tools are to be considered indicative. For complete information, Users are requested to consult the privacy policies of the respective third party services listed in this document.
Given the objective complexity associated with tracking technologies, Users are encouraged to contact the Owner should they wish to receive any insights related to the use of such technologies through this Web Site.
